My name is Matthew and I am currently studying 2D animation at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

I am French and Chinese. I grew up in Hong Kong and studied fine arts in Chicago for two years at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Visual storytelling through illustration or character animation is my stronghold. I really enjoy grungy, colorful elements grounded into fantasy or real life.

In my free time I enjoy exploring environments, playing video games with excessive amounts of dragons, and doing observational drawing.

So far I have worked in animation, storyboarding and visual development positions, as well as freelancing.
